  • Reduction in water content of faeces, which may relate to an improvement in the intestinal epithelium tight junctions.

Trial Results:

  • Angus Bull #22 & Hereford Bull #2568, breed as breeding stock, had been collected in 2003 with unsuccessful results due to low percentages of live usable semen.
  • Positive weight gain in both bulls during the duration of the trial.
  • Bull #22 – 469% improvement in live sperm. 31% improvement in volume of collections.
  • Bull #2568 – 273% improvement in live sperm. 31% improvement in volume of collections.

Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome – Field Study

Trial Results:

Nine thoroughbred race horses in training were gastro-scoped for the presence of ulcers. (Grade 1 to 5) and were placed on palaMOUNTAINS® Equine Plus.

These case study horses 5-9 were also fed a varying range of medication.

  • Case study horses 1-4 were only administered palaMOUNTAINS® Equine Plus with no other medication.
  • Case study horses 1-4 greatly reduced the severity of stomach ulcers.
  • Case study horses 5-9 showed either no sign of change or a greater degree of ulcer severity.
